South Asian Minorities Lawyers Association is a non-political, non sectarian and non-profit making institution, conceived by a group of conscientious lawyers working as social engineers having a vision of belonging to different religions, castes, creeds, colours, cultures, languages and ethinic backgrounds live in perfect harmony with their fellow beings in a fearless, secured environment with equal opportunities, protection of law and dignity to preserve their identity and realise their dreams. In our view, this ideal can be realized only when the state upholds the rule of law and the communities take initiative to establish it brought dialogue in a spirit of mutual respect and fairness.
SAMLA (South Asian Minorities Lawyers Association) is an association of lawyers committed to promotion of rights of minorities in South Asia . SAMLA believes that protection of minorities’ rights is necessary to attain peace and prosperity in the region.
